TACS in TURKISH DAY PARADE in New York

May 19, 2001

The Turkish Day Parade, organized by the Federation of Turkish American Associations, has become traditional over the years and every year it gives TACS an opportunity to organize a tour with our members to New York City and spend some memorable time. This year Collage International Dance Ensemble, accompanied by musician Eylem Basaldi, also took part in our parade group in their folkloric costumes. In addition to their dances during the parade, Collage enchanted thousands with their performance of folk dances from Bolu region at the finishing point. As always, our members represented our community in New England with great success in the parade.
