New Bostonians Community Day at City Hall is the culmination of annual New Bostonians Vote Campaign. The goal of this city-wide event is to help community members better access city services, increase understanding of how city government works and highlight New Bostonians' civic participation. During New Bostonian Day, members from the diverse communities attend a kick-off event with Mayor Thomas M. Menino, browse at city department resources tables, access free immigration clinics, attend resource sessions on housing, citizenship, youth and education, civil rights, enjoy multicultural presentations and tour City Hall in different languages. Participants get a chance to meet the Mayor, Department Heads and City Councilors.

The event recognizes New Bostonians' contributions in community building, including leadership and participation in MONB's working groups and New Bostonian Voter Registration Campaign. Each year, about 2,000 community members participate in New Bostonians Community Day. Over 120,000 people were notified about New Bostonian Community Day through community newspapers, ethnic media programs, flyers, etc.
