TACS-New England reiterates its condemnation of attacks in Istanbul
As the Turkish American Cultural Society of New England, we reiterate our strong condemnation of the horrible attacks against innocent people in Istanbul, which occurred today, on Thursday, November 20, killing close to 30 and wounding more than 500 people. This incident follows another atrocious bomb attack targeting two synagogues, five days ago, where 23 people were killed and 302 people were injured, again in Istanbul.
We believe that these are attacks against the peace, stability and democracy in Turkey.
We would like to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the victims' families.
